"From resentment to real connection"

I have gotten such an amazing change with how I interact with my mom. I now have a relationship with my mother that's loving and caring. I can just love her and not have disgust and hatred for the ways that she is and the unhealthiness and all that stuff. I don't focus on that. I just focus on loving her and being kind to her and it's reversed or goes back and forth. I'm able to just share my heart with her and she receives it and she can support me to the best of her ability—or I can step back and say you know what— I don't need that from you all I needed was this. And she receives it.
